Starlings?
Here in North America starlings are imported birds (a nuisance, I might add) and they don’t migrate. I take it they do in Europe?
They most certainly do, at least the greater majority go north each spring. We have flocks of thousands over the winter. They roost after fantastic displays each evening, see ‘Aberystwyth murmurations’ on YouTube.
