Fabulous! It’s the June Taylor Dancers! Great shot!
😊 Thank you (I’ll have to google the June Taylor Dancers)
They were a troupe of females who danced regularly on “The Jackie Gleason Show”. They were known for the patterns they made on the floor, which were shot from above.
Ah, we had ‘The Tiller Girls’, heady days.
Lovely. Sunflowers inspire haiku: https://scooj.org/2015/07/19/helios/
Oh, yes. Just read ‘Helios’, excellent 🌞
I must get back to doing more nature haikus. Two weeks in Cornwall should do it.
Sounds good to me, a beautiful part of the world
Scooj writes some wonderful stuff. I look forward to his posts every day.
Skooj is a fine and passionate writer. (Careful, he might hear)
Your Haiku is inspiring and the photo gives me an intimate understanding of the sunflower. Thanks
That’s very kind of you, I’m glad you enjoy them.
Beautiful tiny story you tell in your haiku. The picture of sunflower seeds is amazing. I’ve never seen the growing seeds up close before.
You’re very kind, these sunflower haiku seem to ‘Spring fully formed ‘, it’s an inspirational plant. I’m glad you enjoy them. 🌞
I love sunflowers yet hadn’t yet ‘seen’ the flowers in the flower. Enjoyed your haiku:)
They’re brilliant, so mathematical as well as beautiful. I’m glad you enjoy the haiku, much appreciated 🙂
Intricate detail in nature and matter seems to multiply into infinite. It’s fun when you can observe it with a naked eye or camera closeup.
Fractals everywhere, spotting them gets addictive
Beautiful! Both the image and the haiku. That last line is going to stick with and crop up in my thoughts years from now …
I’m very glad you like it, many thanks for such a pleasant comment.
