On re-reading Joyce

I just haven’t been able to finish or re-start.
I had put it off for.years and the first effort was just that. This sudden enjoyment is a real surprise and I thoroughly recommend it. Go on, risk it 💥
Deep breath (huge step which I fear will lead to quitting on it and more disappointment – and who needs all that baggage? :))
That’s true, but then I’m sure you like a challenge 😄 Perhaps later.
I am. And it feels like you have baited the hook… 🙂
It’s the fly fisherman in me. Perhaps aim at simply enjoying the language in the first chapter, I’m taking it a piece at a time. Good luck.
Thanks for stopping by Bill, look forward to checking in with you now we have made contact, This will be my third attempt at reading as you say a piece at a time.
Pleasure to meet you. Let me know how it goes, I’m still enjoying it, inspirational stuff.
“The ferreteyed porkbutcher folded the sausages he had snipped off with blotchy fingers, sausagepink. Sound meat there like a stallfed heifer” As you say Bill inspirational.
