You carried those seaside memories a little far for my tastes. I prefer the crunch of pickles myself. π
I think sand was somewhat compulsory in sandwiches when I was little, never quite the same without it. What we’d have given for pickles.π
No pickles?!
No pickles!
Sand in sandwiches is always better than sand in underwear π
Any time though usually it was both. True grit.
You guys truly were heroes π
Can see, feel and smell it…
You must have been there,
Sand gets ingrained in my memory.
Sands of time?
I can just feel the sand between my teeth! π
Thereβs no escaping it, just enjoy the crunch π
