Thank you, that’s kind of you. It’s a loss of long ago, the other side of grief when the memories are the good times.
It never quite leaves you though. Many years ago, a good friend of mine died rather suddenly and mysteriously in a hotel while on a business trip. I didn’t find out about it until a few months later. It was a huge shock.
No, never quite leaves. I specialised in grief therapy for years, the tenacity of loss is amazing.
