Our magpies rob nests to devour the eggs and nestlings, but I didn’t know they eat bees, too. The ones around here are eager and audacious when dishes of cat food are left on the deck, cat or no cat. 😦

They’re only being magpies, and they get picked off by the red kites, who get caught by the goshawks … Still a shame about the bees, though.
