Nothing seems to ruffle swans. They rule the river.
Chased me a few times when I’ve been river walking. Great birds 🦢
They always seem so serene but any creature will act territorial when it feels threatened.
True, I think I intruded on a breeding season turf war, only my dignity was damaged!
They can be bullies though. I have watched a swan drown a goose. Not a pretty sight.
Gruesome, and a goose is not a pushover.
