These are two of my favourite things. Iโve been reading a lot more lately, and am so enjoying it again.
Same here. I’ve got back into ‘real’ books , not read kindle for quite a while.
Exactly! I like the feel of a real book in my hands.
My granddaughter, 13, turns out to be a dedicated bookworm, gladdens my heart!
That is wonderful!

Your comments are closed for your post “rain” so I will leave my comments here. I love your use of alliteration and the rhythm of the haiku almost sounds like rain! And I love the line “perfumed petrichor”. What a marvelous olfactory image.
Thank you, LuAnne, I much appreciate your thoughts.
No idea why the ‘comments off’ is happening on some tweets, gremlins, I suppose.
You never know what goes on in cyberspace while we’re asleep. ๐
Indeed!๐
Nothing better than a good book and a cat nearby to rub against you. Haha. Great post, Bill!
Thatโs kind of you, thanks. Mind you, my cat used to try and sleep on the book, felines rule!
Good post, but sometimes the sighs of a happy lap dog will also work.
Most definitely, not much matches a happy hound.
