We have this flower blooming now too, some in my back yard. Something to celebrate.
They are such a burst of gold, of optimism in these restrictive times. Good celebration!

Beautiful picture of the dirt path. It reminds me of my mother’s childhood home in Alabama though the image is only in my head.
These little lanes are too small for modern farm equipment so they tend to get overgrown and lost. I’ve wandered them most of my life.
