Beautifully composed.
Thank you, I had to put on the light to write it down.
Those often make the best haiku.
We know this all too well.
As do we, it’s not something I’m finding easy.
My husband has really been struggling for years, and it affects both of us. No fun at all.
If I may suggest, what very often works for me and in the past for several clients of mine is to try and stay awake. No lights on, just open your eyes wide and see if you can raise your awareness. Have a good night 💤
I know this feeling that lingers in “the velvet night”. Beautifully worded, Bill.
Thanks LuAnne, not too often, I hope.
