Froth. Perfect. I am on a train to Leeds and looking out of the window there is a froth of hawthorn in all the hedgerows, on the edges of fields and gardens and encircling woodlands. Beautiful.
It really is a sublime time of year, enjoy your journey.
May and September are by far my favourite months.
Likewise, a certain easiness, very British.
