It bugs me the way this goes on! We never even had a tree until Christmas Eve, when I was a kid,and it didn’t come down until Epiphany!
We’ve always decorated a week before Christmas, seemed to fix the specialness of things.
Ah, yes! We did decorate the house about a week before.
A quiet Christmas this year, none of the kids, it’s going to be strange, I think.
Aw, that is definitely a change. Just the two of us here, no kids, so no grandkids, and we’re both orphans now.
