Hi Bill,
I knew this was a haiku even before I read that it was. I teach medieval Japan to seventh graders, and I teach haiku writing.
I blog over at http://mostlyblogging.com. Maybe you can check out my site. I blog about blogging tips. I help bloggers. I also host six blog parties a month where you could meet new readers.

Looks a fascinating blog, I’ll certainly check it out. Medieval Japan, now that’s impressive!

Wind surfing is a good one, Bill. Hang gliding would also describe what they get up to on my clothesline. :).

Thanks, Christine, it’s a good job that we can’t hear them shouting ‘Yee hah!’ as they float by 😄

Another fine haiku. And if you listen very carefully, you can hear them!

All singing ‘633 squadron’ or is that before your time?
scooj said:
I’m afraid it is. Although the film was made in the year of my birth.

In that case, Chariots of Fire will do, better in fact for airborne arachnid

That’s more like it.
