Yes. Struggle out of the angst cave, I know that feeling, but it is nice to breathe a little when outside. And be able to express the feelings. I like this image very much.
Angst cave! I can so relate. I need this encouragement, Bill. You’d think with everything cancelled, I would be writing more but alas, I have been lazy instead. Thanks.
I get it, Bill. I was full of writing energy at first but have fallen into sluggishness, and fearfulness. I’m going outside to take a walk as soon as I finish checking my email. Enjoy your gardening,. Just the thing to perk you up.
Youโre so right, that undertone of fearfulness is debilitating. Gardening is a restorer, this weather a real tonic. These conversations are another treasure ๐
The air that floated by me seem’d to say
“Write! thou wilt never have a better day.”
And so I did
— John Keats (poem: To Charles Cowden Clarke)
Superb! And thanks for reminding me of this.
Very wise words, indeed.
Thatโs kind of you, many thanks.

Thank you. Yes, I’m outside the cave now, just a down blip in light of events.
OK, good, I hope we can stay out in the sunshine. Fingers crossed for all of us.
I’ve been out gardening all morning, surrounded by daffodils and primroses, lovely day.
Now that is what I like to hear. We are having a sunny morning here today, trees just starting to bloom. Makes me smile.
Even had butterflies this afternoon!
Here, the birds singing. I caught a blue-jay in the act on a small tree right by the trail, singing his heart out.
Many years since I heard a blue-jay, lovely little bird. Our blackbirds are giving their all these Spring mornings.
Nice wordplay and haiku.
Thank you ๐

Sometimes lazy is the thing to be, these dark times are so stifling, a little indulgence can be good for the soul ๐

I can relate to this. I find walks and talks with nature give inner peace.
Absolutely, standing quietly in a wood is so uplifting.
